How an address is written in Taiwan
This is the order Taiwan's postal service expects. Square brackets mark what you replace.
[Postal code (104)]
[County][District]
[Street address]
[Recipient name]
TAIWAN
Note the order: the postal code comes first, before the region and street — the reverse of the Western convention.
A postal code is required in a complete Taiwan address. The county is also required.
Look up a specific address
For the code covering one particular street or building, Taiwan's postal service publishes an official finder: www.post.gov.tw/post/internet/f_searchzone/index.jsp?ID=190102. It is authoritative and kept current, which third-party copies often are not.
